Would you like to be a part of that crowd? What would you say if I told you that it could be done without a single check being cut or a single payment made? It's true.....

Basically, we are a hunting forum site with almost 5500 members and growing. We started this site in June of 2008 and have already grown so fast it is hard to keep up. We are a 100% family friendly site and do not allow ANY bad language, fighting, cliques, product bashing, sexual overtones and many of the other things that plague almost every other forum site. We have an absolute zero tolerance policy for those kinds of things. We tell our moderators that my Pastor's 13 year old daughter is a member at TalkHunting and nothing better get by them that will offend her in any way. This gives us a clean and friendly place to share ideas, stories, photos and many other things. We call it our virtual hunting camp.

What we do to make us different than most of the other forums (besides a clean site) is we advertise for companies (we call them sponsors) and in exchange for that advertising, the sponsors provide us their products and we give these products away in drawings to our members each month. So, not only does the sponsor get banners on our site (our site gets about 4000 hits per day) but they also get their products in the hands of people who will talk about them on the site and to their family and friends. We also, as site administrators and moderators, heavily talk about and promote our sponsors, driving members to purchase their products.

We leave the amount of product a sponsor wants to provide up to the sponsor. We have 4 different levels to choose from. We handle this advertising in 6 month time frames. January – June and July – December. The level of sponsorship you choose will determine your banner amounts and placement. All sponsor levels are based on retail price of the products and cover the entire 6 month time frame.

Level #1 Sponsorship - $1500 retail value of donated product Level #2 Sponsorship - $1000 retail value of donated product

Level #3 Sponsorship - $500 retail value of donated product Level #4 Sponsorship - $200 retail value of donated product

So, for example… If your company donated products that totaled $1000 in retail value, that would make you a level #2 sponsor and would give you the ad placement of a level #2 sponsorship for 6 months.

Not a bad value…..

Advertising Time Frames
Our advertising periods are split up into 2 time frames per year. The first time frame is January through June and the second time frame is from July through December. This means that once you decide on a sponsor level (see below) your ads and promotions will run on the TalkHunting site for 6 months, depending on which time frame you choose.

Sponsor Levels
Sponsor packages are split into 4 sponsor levels. These levels are based on the total RETAIL value of the product or products you are going to donate for prize awards for the entire 6 month period. For example, if you have decided to donate 6 prize packs to be given away, one for each month of your time frame, the total RETAIL value of all of those prize packs would decide your sponsor level. Let's say you have decided to donate 6 prize packs and 4 of those prize packs consist of several small items that total to $100 per prize pack. The other 2 prize packs are one larger item each that retail at $100 each. You would take the total retail price of every item, add them together and see that your total retail value is $600. The chart below shows that this would make you a level 3 sponsor.

Sponsor Levels Retail Value

   1 $1500 or more total retail value for the 6 month time frame

   2 $1000 - $1499 total retail value for the 6 month time frame

   3 $500 - $999 total retail value for the 6 month time frame

   4 $200 - $499 total retail value for the 6 month time frame

Once you have chosen a sponsor level, the sections below will show you where your banners will be located. Just look at the package number you chose and find the corresponding table.

Prize Winners
Winners will be chosen to receive your prize packs, whether it is every month or once per time frame. You decide how many prize packs there will be. We have some sponsors that put a lot of little items into a prize pack and do one or two each month and some just donate one large item to be given away each time frame. We have seen that the more prize packs you have, the more your name gets mentioned but this is strictly up to you. One of your prize packs may be selected as an Administrative Field Promo. If this happens, the prize will be sent to the TalkHunting headquarters and an article on the products created for the next edition of the Campfire News, our online hunting magazine. This usually generates quite a bit of attention on your products and your website.

Once the winner is chosen by the TalkHunting staff, we will email you their name and address to ship the prize directly to the winner. This way, you can add catalogs, literature or anything else to the box. You will also have the winners name, address and email address for your records.

The Sept 2009 issue was tracked and out of the 7300 emails that went out, 5942 people actually clicked on the email and visited the Campfire News. We placed a test ad for Bowie Outfitters (A new sponsor) and their ad alone drove 570 people to their website in 3 days.
