Whirlwind of unbelievable activity

The last month has been a whirl wind of unbelievable activity for me. I have spent very little time scouting or fishing, but I have been having a great time. The highlights of the last month have been the time I have been able to spend with my grand children. I now have 3, and treasure all of them. My newest grandson was born on Memorial day and I have gotten to spend one weekend with him in Washington the week after he was born.

The next weekend was my birthday and my wife and I had our other two grand kids for the whole weekend. My grandson David is 21 months old and has more energy than any 2 kids should have. My grand daughter Millie is 5 months old and is Grandpa's girl. She gets so excited when she see's me she is bouncing and giggling all over. Millie and I always have a great time together.

i decided that because I( had been such a good Grandpa lately I deserved a nice present for Father's day. I bought myself a smoker grill and spent fathers day weekend grilling some chicken and steaks as well as smoking a rack of pork ribs,. It all turned out great and Lorie and I a nice relaxing weekend. We went for a drive in the high desert and stopped to take some pictures of an old Church we found a few years ago out in the desert. it was a relaxing enjoyable weekend.
